      The elephant is bearing the weight of the entire world. On the one side, we have man made structures - buildings. On the other side, we have nature made structures - crystals. If you notice that one of the buildings is on fire, you may also want to know that there is a story behind it. As I was finishing the painting, a gust of wind blew and knocked the painting off my easel.

      A large gouge was now present in my canvas by the buildings. I had some conflicting feelings for a moment, but I knew there was no point in reacting. I decided I would take the energy of that incident and place it into the painting forever as fire, representing the same ferocity to a building as the wind did to my painting. But that's just man kind - the struggle, the burden, to persevere when things get tough. It's not what happens to you but how you walk through it that counts. 

This painting is UV reactive and looks excellent under a blacklight!
